Ages 5–8 *age 5 by Sept 1st ’26
Our Earth Group offers children an intentional introduction to building confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships & skills through experiences with nature, guided by caring, experienced educators.

Designed specifically for ages 5–8, this program nurtures confidence, curiosity, emotional well-being, communication skills, and practical life skills through hands-on projects, storytelling, mindfulness practices, outdoor exploration, creative play, and thoughtful mentorship. Children are given the time, guidance, and support to ask questions, solve problems, build meaningful friendships, and develop a lasting connection with nature and their community. Seeing themselves as a part of nature, rather than than something separate we visit.
Our Earth group is designed for children who are curious and thrive in a relationship-centered learning environment where they are known, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

Growing Our Outdoor Classroom

Florida Wild School is proud to be a VELA Founder Network Microgrant recipient. This support is helping us continue expanding and improving our outdoor classroom while creating even more opportunities for hands-on learning and collaborative projects.
A Learning Community
Enrollment also includes monthly Community Days, where enrolled families come together for hikes, field trips, a campout, a kayaking adventure, a Makers Market, and seasonal celebrations throughout the school year.

Community Day

Staying Connected
We’ve invested in a custom Florida Wild School mobile app to make communication simple and strengthen our community throughout the year. Families can access the calendar, receive announcements, view class photos, message educators, and connect with enrolled families- all in one place.
Earth Group Schedule
Wednesdays • 10:00 AM–2:30 PM • September–May
Earth Group meets one day each week, giving children time to build friendships, confidence, and independence while learning through meaningful hands-on experiences in nature.
